Rachael Leigh Cook was born on October 4 1979 in Minneappolis Minnesota. In 1985, at the age of 7, Rachael landed her first acting role in a public service announcement encouraging adults to become foster parents.
Soon after she started modeling for Target and appeared on the box of Milk Bone Dog Bones for medium sized dogs. "Do you guys have Milk Bone Dog Bones over here? When I was ten I appeared on the box of Milk Bone Dog Bones."* {Picture} At the age of 15 , she made film debut
in the Baby-Sitters Club, but didn't get recognition until her role in an anti-drug commercial. "That pan was so heavy. People think it must have been fun, but it was really hard."* At the age of only 19, Rachael has already made over 9 movies with plenty more on the way.
Rachael has many hobbies that she enjoys doing in her spare time. They include reading, writing, painting, and knitting. Her favorite authors are Franz Kafka, Sandia Cisneros, and Nadine Gordimer. Rachael has aspiations of screen plays someday in the future, and has even been known to design her own cloths.
As for bands, she enjoys listening to Moby(great band-check them out), The Who, and U2.She currently lives in Los Angeles, but frequently visits her parents in Minnesota. I believe we will be seeing alot more of Rachael in the future.
